Patagonia Corporate Sales

With a simple, single-pull main closure the Patagonia Ultralight Black Hole® Pack makes loading a cinch. The classic top-loader design is made of burly yet light fabric making this pack equally at home on the trail or the train. Silkscreened with artful precision your logo will leave a long lasting impression built to stand the test of time and weather infused adventures.

The Ultralight Black Hole® Pack 20L weighs less than your cup of morning coffee, yet provides burly protection for all your gear whether you’re on the trail, the train or making your way through a cold drizzle. Made from Ultralight Black Hole® fabric—a lightweight, all-recycled nylon ripstop that’s highly packable, weather-resistant and tough. The main compartment holds it all and a simple single-pull on the drawcord provides easy accessibility to your gear. Sized for essentials, the zippered stash pocket on the pack’s lid keeps your passport, sunglasses and phone handy. You can lash extra gear like a yoga pad or bike helmet to the exterior via the vertical micro daisy chain. The shoulder straps and back panel feature lightweight and highly breathable mesh to dry quickly and provide a cooling airflow to keep you from overheating. When not in use, the Ultralight Black Hole® Pack 20L stuffs into its own pocket. Made from 2.4-oz 70-denier 100% recycled nylon (50% postconsumer recycled/22% solution-dyed) ripstop treated with a silicone face coating and a polyurethane back coating and lined with 3.3-oz 200-denier 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

    Technical Specs

    Durable Water Repellent

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated, enabling the breathable barrier to do its job. Patagonia has long relied on a DWR with perfluorinated compound (PFC) but we have been searching diligently for an alternative because of its harmful environmental impacts.

    bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.
In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.
Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.
